Community Care TASMANIA Support Workers talk about their jobs

Irene

"Ive been with Community Care Tasmania (formerly NESB) for 25 years. It is imperative that we keep clients happy at home.
Our jobs are changing with new communication through i-pads and websites but the care remains homely and personal. Community Care TASMANIA is not a call centre there is always someone there to listen.
You become very attached to the clients and they to you and I consider this job a privilege."

Isis

I really like who I work for - the organisation and its people are kind. You can make a difference by spending time with them and this is very rewarding
I came back to Community Care TASMANIA about a year ago after working in another place that was more about schedules than personal care.
